Author guidelines
These guidelines describe what is required at submission and how the manuscript is handled afterwards. Reading them beforehand avoids most incomplete-submission returns.
What the submission must contain
- Title in French and English.
- Abstract in French and in English, between 100 and 5,000 characters each.
- Three to eight keywords in each language.
- The ordered list of authors, with affiliation and email address; exactly one corresponding author.
- The full manuscript, and an anonymised version without names or affiliations.
- A conflict-of-interest statement, required even when there is none.
- Where applicable, funding sources.
- The originality declaration, to be accepted before transmission.
Accepted formats and sizes
Manuscript: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT or LaTeX, 25 MB maximum. Supplementary files (figures, tables, data): 50 MB maximum. Executable files are refused.
How submission proceeds
- 01
Opening the submission
You enter the metadata and authors. The submission stays a draft, visible to you alone, for as long as you need.
- 02
Uploading files
You attach the manuscript and its anonymised version. Re-uploading a file replaces the previous one within the current version.
- 03
Transmission
On transmission, a permanent public identifier is assigned to your submission, of the form AUK-2026-000001. It never changes.
- 04
Follow-up
Every step is visible from your author workspace, and the corresponding author is notified of decisions by email.
Revisions
If a revision is requested, you have the period stated in the decision letter to submit a new version. It must come with a summary of changes and a point-by-point response to the reviewers. Previous versions remain preserved exactly as they were read.
