About the journal

The Annals of the University of Kamina are the institutional scientific journal of the University of Kamina. They publish original, peer-reviewed work across ten disciplinary sections.

One journal, ten sections

The journal is a single publication organised into ten scientific sections. Each manuscript is submitted to one section, which determines the editor handling its review. A single issue may bring together articles from several sections: the disciplinary structure organises editorial work, it does not fragment the journal.

Open access

All articles are freely available from publication, without subscription or reading fees. Authors retain their rights; articles are distributed under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence unless stated otherwise on the article itself.

Bilingual publication

The journal publishes in French and English. Whatever the language of the manuscript, title, abstract and keywords are provided in both languages, so that every contribution can be found beyond its own linguistic area.

Preservation and integrity

  • Every successive version of a manuscript is preserved and never overwritten.
  • Every change of state in a submission is timestamped and attributed to its author.
  • A retracted article is not deleted: it remains accessible together with a retraction notice.
  • The metadata of a published article are frozen at publication, so that any citation remains accurate.
